Introduction

The library is situated in the first floor of the college. This library was established in the year 2006 with 5000 books. Presently, it accommodates 11,300 books for the benefit of the students. There are 65 International journals, 60 National journals and 25 magazines in this library.
The library functions with LIPS-i-NET software system with barcode scanning facility. The documents in the library are bar-coded for circulation purposes.
The students and staff should enroll their roll number in the E-Gate system while entering the library.

Rules and Regulations

• Silence should be strictly observed in the library.
• Students are required to leave their things at the entrance.
• The students should return the books in person at the counter.
• All the books must be returned on or before the due date.
• Books returned after the due date will be charged Rs. 1/- per day as over due money.
• Books due on a holiday can be returned the next morning without fine.
• Readers shall not damage, write or make any mark on any book.
• Borrower’s Tickets are not transferable.
• The returned books shall not be reissued to the same person on the same day of return.
• If the members lose any book it must be replaced with the latest edition along with the overdue charges. The double the cost of the book will be collected if the lost book is not replaced.
• Books will be lent to students only for a period of 15 days. They can be renewed if needed for more than 15 days.
• The library will not lend journals, reference books, or CDs on any case.

Open access system is followed in the library which is browser friendly.

OPAC

The library has OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) to provide details of its
resources. Users can search details about books, periodicals, CDs, question bank,
Compliment books, periodical compact disks, floppy disks, and audio cassettes
Within the library. The various search schemes are:

Publisher wise search.
Accession number wise search.
Call number wise search.
Edition wise search
ISBN wise search
